The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is an annual event primed to celebrate Italy’s incredibly
varied regional cuisine and food traditions with a wide array of events promoting culinary culture
and flavours to millions of consumers worldwide.
First time in New Zealand, organized by the Italian embassy in Wellington, which involved more then 30 restaurants in New Zealand ( Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington ) and hoping lots more next year.
I was personally very happy to be part of it especially because The week of Italian cuisine in the world it also included the candidacy of the Art of Neapolitan Pizzaiuoli as UNESCO Intangible Heritage ( PIZZAUNESCO ) and my GIROPIZZA event at Settebello was a big success ( see the photos below )
